Compared To Other Headphones

The Bose QuietComfort Headphones are the next iteration of the Bose QuietComfort 45/QC45 Wireless. Although both are nearly identical in design and have similarly outstanding levels of noise isolation, the QuietComfort Headphones have a more bass-heavy sound profile than their predecessor, and they come with an audio cable with an in-line mic so that you can take calls while wired. However, they don't block out as much background noise as the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless. Their continuous battery life isn't quite as long-lasting either, though 26+ hours will still be more than enough to get you through long days on the go.

Previous cheapest was $295.00 at Noels.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals.

FYI, these are cheaper than Costco at the moment. Saw them at the weekend at Costco for $319

Great price. Given the only difference between the SC and QC are the multipoint toggle switch and the hard case that comes with QC.

    • Yep its a QC45 basically

      • Yeah I have these and they show as QC45 on my phone.

  • Could try pricematch with Costco? They just released their Black Friday deal for $294: https://files.cheapies.nz/upload/12735/5315/screenshot_2024-…

  • Does anybody know if this is this big head-friendly? 😅 Thinking of getting one for my partner. The Sony XM4 was a bit tight he reckons. Wonder if this will be more comfortable?

    • +1

These are less tight than the xm4's source male with a big head.

I suppose it depends on how big of a head lol.
The sony xm5 don't put much pressure if your man has a massive head though, or if he doesn't like the pressure feeling.

These are super comfy over the sonys though imo.

      • Agree, I had the xm3's before the QCs and the QCs are waaay more comfortable for long wearing sessions.

    • +2

Yes. I’ve had Sony XM4 and XM5. Both were too tight for me but the XM5s are better. The Bose are the most big head friendly of them all. The most comfy overears I’ve tried. ANC is better too.

      • Sound quality is meh though

        • The default EQ setting is quite flat. I boost the bass and treble in the Bose app and they sound great.

Not the SC, but the QC Ultra's are now 499 at NL and the Bose online store. It's the cheapest I have ever seen them. You can get $50 off the Bose store with the student discount as well, partner bought a pair of Ultras for 449.
