Contact Energy Broadband increasing by $10

Just got the email about the increase. What other options out there as most seems to be increasing their prices as well?

        Yep sorry i was meaning more as in if the prices on their website have factored in the price increase?

        E.g Has fast fibre gone from $75 to $85 new price on site or will the new price be $95?

          $85 is the new $75 from December for me.

        $5 for me

        From time to time, we review our plans and pricing. We’re getting in touch to let you know that from 5 December 2024, your Fast Fibre will cost $80 incl. GST ($69.57 excl. GST) per month. This is $5 more than what you’ve been paying.

              @Flippant: Interesting as I am on the same bundle but email says will be $85. Have contacted them on WhatsApp to see if it was an error.

    There is an entry level broadband service (100mbps) and chorus are only allowed to increase the price based on inflation.

    Luckily I switched out to Slingshot's $60 a month for 300/100 plan (now expired), I think there's a $65 plan available right now. There was an uption for $80 gig fibre but I'm not torrenting like i used to so decided to take the downgrade for the cost savings.
