I'd swear Woolworths online ordering gets worse by the week.
Earlier today I placed an order for delivery on Tuesday totalling $83.27 including the $1.50 bag charge. As I usually do, and advocated on Cheapies, I add items to the order on Monday to take advantage of any new offers that start that week.
I then remembered a couple of other items that are on a good promo this week so added them to my existing order but when I went to checkout with the new order total the message came up:
"You are currently unable to increase your order by more than $11.65. Please review your added items."
I immediately queried this via the online chat as there is no mention of these limits in the FAQs only to be told:
"Apologies for the inconvenience. This is a temporary change to align with NZ Payment guidelines and our team is working to get this resolved."
Does anyone know what these new "guidelines" are and why Woolworths are now effectively making it impossible to add to online orders? It strikes me more than suspicious and a convenient excuse to further prevent any of their customers actually obtaining a decent deal.

So fussy as to not be worth the effort! I ommittted that the online chat offered to manually add the new products for me too, but only up to the value of $50, which kind of makes me think it isn't related to credit card authorisation limits but some new policy Woolworths are trialling to prevent amendments.
