  The raising agent does become less effective with time in SR flour, so don't go crazy. But at that price, you could use it like normal flour.

    Last time when I used I had to top up with extra baking powder. Must be the raising agent become less effective with time.

  I called The Warehouse and asked when the special ended. The answer was four weeks starting 31 July. Somehow it's on special early so go figure!
