Can anyone recommend desktop EFTPOS terminal or a company who could sell a used or new terminal at a reasonable price?

What is your type of business? With BNZ pay, you can use your Android phone to accept payments and no terminal is required. Good for small, on-the-go businesses.

  Thanks for this! Interesting option. Unfortunately not for us. We need a countertop dedicated terminal. Needs to look professional. Any ideas you could share would be appreciated.

You can check Paymark. I know someone who uses them for local stores.

Thanks. An ingenico Desk5000 terminal set me back $730 with two-year warranty, so it is definitely cheaper to buy than to rent.
