Mitre10 Trade seems to have decent discounts for plants

The plants appear to have significant discounts, whereas products in other categories don't have many. Some examples:

Persimmon Fuyu 7.5 Litre (SKU: 2029407)
Standard price $97.98
Trade price $75.98

Lavender Major 2.4 litre Grey (SKU: 189035)
Standard price $17.89
Trade price $10

Hebe Lavender Lace 3.5 litre (SKU 104771).
Standard price $19.98.
Trade price $11.99

Not sure if this is store-specific.

Do you have to pay subs to get a Mitre10 trade account or be gst registered?

Guess I will apply for one of these. Purchases will be for business purposes… Well I'm pretty sure most purchases will be something supporting my home office so yep.

Nothing came up on those skus for me and on my trade account when I searched lavender the trade and rrp were identical for 10+ items.

  Rrp doesn't necessarily mean the standard price. I've seen a lot of items whose rrps are lower than the standard prices.

Farmlands is basically 15% off everything at Mitre10 just FYI

Bunnings varies big time re the discounts. Have had everything from 0% to 40% off.

i remember plants coming in @$5 and putting $19.95 on them. huge margin on plants.crazy
