    As with all these hundred dollar app store discounts, they make it free for just long enough to chart so some sucker will think it's popular and give them hundreds.

    They're all just wrappers around OpenAI's API. Will probably shut down in a few months, it's their lifetime not yours.

      yeah these "apps which costs hundreds but are free for a brief period" feel disingenuous and are also all posted by the same person. I'm not sure if they're just getting alerts for heavily discounted apps and sharing them, but they all seem pretty suss:

      FreeVPN - it's literally just going to save all your data, This is sketchy and I'd rather risk no VPN when needed.
      Find your earbuds - Doesn't FindMyPhone do this already? Didn't quite understand what this app does that isn't offered free.
      AI apps - somewhat similar to the VPN, it's a wrapped free AI and

      They're probably all collecting data from users that sign up and the high price -> big discount is just to lure people in thinking they're getting a good deal.

        I understand your concerns regarding data collection. Since I'm not affiliated with any of the posted apps, I can't guarantee their data practices. However, I believe that despite this, some individuals may still find value in the free offers. I'll continue to share the deals here a few more times. If they don't seem to garner much interest, I'll refrain from posting similar content in the future.
