They've misspelt "'refund" as "credit". Common typo I guess

      Heh :-)

To be fair, a credit is the first step, which generates a cost (or negative income) and also a liability in their system, owed to the customer.

Whether the customer then asks to use the credit (against another invoice or invoices), or requests a refund, is a separate thing.

This is very much standard practice for any business.

      • Yeah I figured that, but I still reckon they have purposely not used the word refund going by my experience with them.

We use credit to also describe refund. This recall you are 100% entitled to a refund.
