I'm wondering what everyone's favourite source is for decent quality basic t-shirts. I generally go with AS Colour if I don't mind spending a bit more, or K-Mart at the cheaper end.
So many cheap t-shirts lose their shape too quickly, especially the neckline on crew necks.
I only buy AS Colour Staple Tees now. Everything else I end up not wearing because they lose their shape after one wash. https://www.redrat.co.nz/ sometimes has them on sale.
Farmers often have 2 for $40 and they tend to hold up alright. Not great, but not bad for $20/shirt.

cotton-on do clearance items very often quite cheap.
I've found that their stuff is pretty poor quality and falls apart quickly (not as quickly as hallensteins), but for a few bucks they become painting shirts
Macpac often do good discounts like 2 for $40, and find theyre generally good quality. Got some the other day for $24 ea. Not super cheap but also not ridiculous
Last year i tried AS Color and honestly the best t-shirts I've ever had, even after around 100 washes and being chucked in the dryer it still feels like new. the color has faded a little bit but i kinda like that.

As colour basic tee with pocket is what i used to buy heaps of. 5 for $100 is what they used to do $20ea.
Now they are $32 or $36 with pocket, buy 5 get 25% off. So costing $25.60 / $28.80 each now
