  That's pretty scummy selling their short dated beer for $40 a dozen. The artificially greed inflated price of craft beer puts me off the whole industry and scene entirely.

    Beer tax on alc% so craft beer is tax more. They still get taxed even if they dump beer. But I tend to agree, but then again there are a few craft beers going bust at the moment

    I don't think it's very scummy? they could have just continued to sell their short dated beer for their regular price until it gets closer to expiry.

    I also feel that craft beer is overpriced but what do you suggest they do with short dated beer instead?

  Got these. A couple of the beers in the pack actually expired 01.02.24 which was even shorter dated than expected. Tasted ok though.
