As per title. I've seen alot of good deals in my area (akl) for built pc's, I was just wondering if I should just buy the parts and build it myself or buy from marketplaces. I just want a pc to play the latest games, but specifically to stream and play FiveM. Thanks all!
Cheaper to Buy a PC from FB Marketplace/Trademe than to Build One?

If you want to game you need to be VERY selective about what you are building them from

You'll need to think about budget and see what parts you can get in the budget for new and then compare it to see what you get 2nd hand

Im not sure if your plan is to buy used or new
So , be very carefull buying used parts, if thats the plan.
Sometimes they are being sold because they have issues, and sellers wont be honest about that
Ive been caught out a few times with used motherboards that had intermittent faultsIf you see a used motherboard 4sale without a CPU , be very suspicious

I only buy secondhand parts for a non-primary PC, like a home media player for example.

When i was in the IT industry ( a year ago) we didnt bother building PC's , it just wasnt worth it.
We'd buy pre-built or have them built for us from a local PC wholesaler
Most PC shops will built to your spec , using parts you specify (within reason) .
or , Build yourself if you want the experience & fun of a DIY . You'll learn a bit doing a build
BUT…
you wont save any money on a DIY.
If you have issues , you'll need to be able to solve ALL those issues yourself
Warranty will be much more of a headache … you wont have all the parts needed to test & solve hardware issues
Eg, if its unstable, you wont know if its the RAM, MB , PSU or vid card causing the issues . You WILL need to know what part is faulty in order to make a warranty claim .
make sure you buy ALL the parts from the same store .That will make warranty a bit easier
