SD Card - 150MB/S+ Write Speed - NZ or Overseas?

Wondering if its better to buy a higher performance SD card from one of the local shops or order from Amazon or Ebay etc? Searching the history of something like Sandisk Extreme Pro - V90 /UHS-II ones I couldn't find any historic deals.

  • I would stick with local, unless you are planning to just buy a new one if something happens to the one you potentially buy from overseas.

    Regardless: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MEMSAM11042/Samsung-EVO-PLU…

  • If sold by Amazon it's fine. I have bought few of them over the years and don't have any issues. What is the use case for performance?

If you want for continuous recording go for endurance cards they are built for that.

Better to get microsd and use it with Adapter as there are more deals.

    Don't buy from ebay.

    • It’s for a high end camera (can record 4K60 10 bit at 200Mbits) that says write speeds of 250MB/S UHS-II V90 etc are the keywords I searched.
I thought every time there’s an adapter, the speed decreases vs direct contact with the chip?
