Haven't bought one in 10+ years,
What's new?
Any decent ones that are recommended?

Have steam cleaners replaced irons?
Maybe I'm missing something here, but one is for cleaning a floor, and the other is for getting wrinkle out of clothes?
For the last forty years or more, irons have had a steam function, but it that doesn't clean anything.

Think they're meaning garment steamers which seem to do the same job e.g. https://www.briscoes.co.nz/product/1090980/sunbeam-power-sho…

Ah - never used one of those myself.

I hate ironing so very rarely do it. Am interested in whether garment steamers are better/more efficient/are as effective/easier than ironing?

I think invest in winkle free shirts that you can hang wet on a hanger and then go straight into the wardrobe to wear after they are dry

Nice - this makes so much sense!

Both work well and no need to pay an over the roof price. 👍🏻 (Though that Russell Hobbs from the link above for 45 bucks seems to be good too… 👌🏻)

We bought this as it’s pretty high on the consumer recommendations, but also very cheap.
Only use it every couple of weeks but has been going well for nearly 2 years
