Wow! What website do you do the surveys through? Sorry I can’t be of much help with using up the credit.

I assume you’ve spent a decent amount of time doing the surveys?

    • Theres only a few good ones in NZ, pm if you'd like links to them. Payout is quite low, probably better doing focus groups

      • I'm intrigued as well, to have amassed $1500 the payouts can't be that bad. I already spend time doing Microsoft rewards quests but they are nerfing the hell out of them making it hard to get any real credit backed up now.

        • I believe that would've taken a while I'd say I'd be lucky to get about 800 a year from my efforts

          • @dave8501: i made this money in just about a year or so
i did have on my account back in 2021 $1385 but spent most of that on a gaming laptop

i do surveys on like 6 sites and have a thing installed on my pc from nielsen panel that pay me points every week to redeem for mightyape giftcards

other sites i do surveys for pay me in paypal payments mostly usd

            • @jamesdeal: What's the payout on the behaviour tracker? I remember being interested years ago, but never put it on my device.

              • @Bill: its not a lot but depends on how long you use it they give you bonus points you make maybe 200 or so a year
but since i do the other 6 sites the gift card money adds up fast

@jamesdeal: $200 a year is much much more that I had expected. You don't have to engage with the extension, right? It just sits there and monitors your normal usage?

I like to do Nielson surveys which I have found pays quite well but they are quite infrequent.

How much do you think the mean hourly payout you are getting is from your different sites?

                  • @Bill: yes the nielson extension you never have to interact with it

with surveys it varies depends if your getting gift cards or paypal payment because a lot of the sites pay in usd to paypal and depending on the amount of surveys you complete some site give you bonus points in an hr i can make like maybe 5usd - 15usd can be much higher sometimes once i got a survey that payed me $30usd

here is one site i do surveys all of these surveys are in usd the times they list to complete them i usually complete them in a shorter time sometimes the times are way off i did one that said 19mins and took 4mins to complete

@jamesdeal: The Nielsen ones I've done have both been $90, but I think both times they called me to participate.

Right now I have been trying to signup to the computer panel. However, much to my frustration, I cannot check the terms and conditions checkbox on the page.

Oh my goodness, it was because I was too zoomed in. God, I feel stupid right now.

                      • @Bill: message me if you want links to all the sites i use

                        • +1

@jamesdeal: Thanks for the offer, I'm not looking to do surveys right now. The Nielsen software looks pretty scary, can't even see it on my hidden icon menu. But $20 bucks a month in exchange for what google, Microsoft and meta are helping themselves to already is a great deal!

                  • @Bill: The are some pretty interesting things you can do via places like Appen or Lionbridge. One task I completed involved buying a carbon monoxide detector then setting it off and recording it. I got reimbursed the $70 for the detector (and got to keep it), and got paid I think USD45 on top. The hardest part was figuring out how to trigger the detector without burning my house down.

                    • @Plug: I've never even heard of those two. How did you come about them?

  • Buy a PS5 and put it on trademe or facebook marketplace.

Airpods pro - but also find something cheaper elsewhere and get them to price match it, then spend your gift cards

Can't you select different vouchers, such as Mitre 10 or Countdown, which is what I do. IMO it is best to use vouchers when there is a sale on.
