Jetstar: Domestic Flights from $30, Flights to Australia from $135 @ Beat That Flight

420

I had a script running for hours all day long processing these flights, so I was a little anxious someone else might post before me without all the individual prices, haha.

Anyway, I've gone through every single date advertised for every route advertised by Jetstar for their Black Friday sale. Some dates, Air NZ is actually cheaper and that'll show in the results (or Air Asia).

All flights include carry on luggage and are one way.

On some days there appear to be limited seats actually on sale, so I would hurry. Sale finishes Monday.

If you want to get really fancy, you can use this sale, and combine with the Jetstar Australia's Return for Free Sale to get cheap flights to say, Hawaii, or Thailand, or elsewhere in Australia.

Some hotels are also getting in on the Black Friday sales, so be sure to check them out.

You've put in lot of work there! Thank you πŸ‘πŸ»

  • Anything for brisbane februrary?

    • not on this sale, everything is listed above. can still try your dates tho as other airlines are on sale too.

  • Awesome thank you! Would love to know how to write these scripts :)

    • yeah same.. i wonder if it’s some sort of commercial API or web scraping from the airlines themselves.. coz idk if these scripts cause any impact on the pricing or not but I have noticed if I continue searching flights on the same route and dates even on incognito they tend to steadily rise up in price

Hah, no my data provider doesn't permit scraping the API for thousands of flights at once for free, so I have to do it a slow and manual way by literally loading each date in a browser. I write it in python and use the beautifulsoup and selenium libraries.

if you're serious, look into python and selenium + beautifulsoup libraries. It's not too complex if you just follow the steps, takes time tho.
