Hi everyone, looking for some recommendations for a large suitcase for an upcoming overseas trip. Preferably >75cms and <$300. Looking to make the most of black friday sales if possible.

That Briscoes deal is a good one, I'll pop in today to get one.
Kmart also have a good cheap option, I've been using one over the last 6 months for multiple trips and I'm surprised how good they are and have since purchased a couple more for the family. Problem is they sell very quickly and are hard to find. Very smooth rolling wheels.

I rate Samsonite, they are generally the lightest suitcase compared to others. I took my Samsonite Oc2lite 75cm Suitcase to Japan a month ago and wheeling it was so nice. It handled rough terrain so easily compared to a Muji Suitcase I bought toward the end of my trip.

Haven't checked, but if in Auckland and have access to Costco check that as well. Sometimes they have it on special.
Went shopping today to pick up one or two cases.
In the end settled for this one, but in a different size from what you're after but decent quality for the price.

Not the best suitcase but definitely bang for buck, have had suitcases from them before and have lasted a decent amount of time.

I do also have a Samsonite which I'm pretty happy with, note that it's slightly out of your price range.

Overall, you get what you pay for and I think between the Briscoes one and the Samsonite the Price v Quality tradeoff is about the same.
