Samsung 77" S90C QD-OLED 4K Smart TV [2023] $6093 + Shipping @ JB Hi-Fi

70

Rtings.com best TV, it’s a highly regarded 77inch beast.

How much it’s been discounted for Black Friday is somewhat irrelevant given retailers play yo-yo with the prices, but this does appear to be the lowest retail price it’s been offered at. It’s not a million miles off the EPP store price either.

Pair it with the Q990c soundbar mentioned on another deal and you have, arguably, the best setup currently available.

Could get $600 of vouchers if price match with Noel Leeming & Gem Visa.

Is that Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman for the bonus vouchers? Would be cool if Noel lemming was running the same promo too as youd get fly buys on top of that

They’re both currently running the Gem Visa promo (as far as I’m aware) but you’re right - Fly Buys as well. 👍🏻

  • the price is still a rip off, you can buy in the US for 2,500$ atm
it shouldnt be costing anymore than 4,500 NZD here

    • There are a few reasons for this and this is off the record from a vendor
CGA is one of the reasons many products are marked up or not available.
AUS seems to get a better bargain from the cheaper shipping costs and higher volume even though ACCC exists (Similar rights as us)

I do disagree that TVs only have a year warranty whereas a PC monitor has at least 3 years.
TVs reasonably should last 3 years for a cheapie and 5 for somthing of this class at least.

the real answer is its just maximising their profits to the highest extent possible they can get away with, we call this the "NZ Tax"

        • Wouldnt surprise me if the profits in the markets with no/little customer rights eg USA would result in better profits than here.

Not disagreeing that they are probably taking unreasonable profits from us just because we are a small island which is "rich"
