Any recommendation on brands/stores?
Loake is the best brand I've been able to find in NZ, but availability is limited. Official AU/NZ site isn't doing any Black Friday sales either.
Even places like Smith & Caugheys only stock lower-mid end stuff like Florsheim and Julius Marlow. The Iconic isn't much better.

Jeffery West have a Black Friday sale, and they deliver to NZ. They have a slightly weird relationship with VAT in that you have to request them to refund it. Their shoes are amazing quality.
It's been five years or so since I checked the NZ market but FWIW my experience was the same; nothing much above Florsheim.
