Confirmed with a store the combo is "Hoki, Chips and 420ml Drink ($17.90)". So it would work out to be $8.95 for one. Not sure if price varies between stores.

  Thanks, pity about the time limit. I mean most of their stores are in malls anyway, still if they want to avoid the dinner crowd in Henderson and Takinini, they could have limited it to 1500 or something. Still it's a freebie.

    Yes, I wonder if time limit could be seen better than a quantity or fixed number of people limit. I guess the question is, "can I make it in time?" either way :)

      I was more thinking of from opening until 3pm or so.

      However having visited the Henderson store I can better understand why they did it this way. At least there, they dedicated the store to this deal and didn't sell their other stuff. I can understand why since even with that they were still quite slow, I think partially their deep frying ability couldn't cope.

      Having the deal last longer might have reduced the urgency and so customer volumes slightly still during their peak lunch hours, still I suspect probably not by that much. And so it was best to dedicate 2 hours where they were flat out doing this then I guess after they can get back to their regular menus and staff have a chance for breaks.

  Note that L&P (normal one, not sugar free etc) was also the default drink for this deal which i guess makes sense since it's Kiwi. They do have other drinks, not sure if you could swap for a price or what since I did see someone get Coke Zero, someone paid $1 extra for something so maybe it was that

    That’s what I thought so too. L&J staff did not even mentioned that they are charging extra for another drink. When I checked my account I was charge $18.24 tsk

    Hope the staff could have told me beforehand

    That doesn't sound right (and annoying for those who doesn't drink L&P), as I actually spoke to someone at the Henderson store and confirmed "any 420ml drink". Sorry that happened.
