Supercard Vs Other Fuel Company Schemes

Just wondering if Supercard still gives the best savings overall compared to BP, Mobil, etc.

For example, $40 min spend at BP, say petrol price at $2.97/L. If I top up a couple of $40 only on a 10c promo day and save the discount, after 5 accumulations I would use all discounts up and fill up 50L also on a 10c promo day. It works out more savings than a Supercard discount of 16c at Mobil assuming it's at the same fuel price.
Understanding Supercard goes by postpay/statement if works better in some situations.

Has anyone reviewed the different schemes/discounts these days? If there is an existing topic, please point me to the right post.

Thank you.

  • Youll probably find bp atleast 20c higher than mobil.

Mobil has been consistently the best price except on gull days which can be cheapest

The other thing i like is 10c mobil days using a cashback credit card and 10c off instead of supercard for a slightly better saving.

Keep an eye on sharetank dude and z petrol deals, z fuel can be picked up cheap if your quick. Recently had 95 at 2.48!

  • If you want to check just use Gaspy. I’ve added all the Supercard discounts into the discount section so they show the price automatically discounted to compare different stations, and then have also favourited all the Z stations to see which Z is the cheapest for Sharetank.

  • 16c per litre everyday at Mobil, 12c at most other stations. No coupons etc that expire. Available to anyone, you don’t have to pull teets to qualify. https://nzfarmsource.co.nz/farm-source-rewards.html

    • Yep, I use this and Sharetank, cross checking for the best price before filling up
