  • Need to add some figures in that post… how much was the joining fee etc.

    Also… welcome to Cheapies!

I remember I posted this deal last year, and after reading the TOS there was something which made me delete the deal(cant remember what it was) just read very carefully
    Welcome to cheapies tho :)

  • The joining fee is usually $49, this was waived.

The key fob fee is $49, this is payable immediately.

The weekly fees vary from club to club. At my local, the regular weekly fee for a 12 month membership is $18.95. With student discount, this came down to $17 for me.

Payments start in the first week of January. Use of the gym (and any other Anytime Fitness gym, immediately, no stand down period) is free until then. I didn’t ask about fees for classes because that wasn’t relevant to me.

I carefully read the T&Cs and they were fine for me, but obviously everyone should read them carefully and evaluate them, as everyone’s situation is different. To me, it seemed like a standard gym contract, which I’ve signed in the past. I didn’t find any glaring gotchas.

If you have not had a membership anywhere for over 12 months or used this offer before this deal will be cheaper iirc(if your local gym is listed)

    https://exercise.org.nz/subsidised-gym-membership/

    Wouldn't stack with this offer

    • $400 for six months ?
