    Kia ora , I sincerely apologise our price promise policy has recently changed - Grocery products and requests to match against grocery retailers can only be price matched instore and will not be price matched online. I wish i could action this request for you however i can not sorry.

    Normally like $60 on sale at countdown and some crazy price otherwise if not on sale.

      Yep. It's usually $100 at Countdown and on special this week down to $49.99 which is about as low as they do them.
      At $20 it's a steal.

    Managed to get a price match of the Oral-B 800 online with Warehouse Stationary.

    Got the same 'supermarket items are excluded' pushback, to which I replied there was no mention of that on the price promise policy page here.

    The agent sent through a link to The Warehouse policy page, so I said I am shopping on the website trading as Warehouse Stationary and not The Warehouse. After a quick check with their supervisor, they put it through.

      I called them and got pushback that the T&Cs say the item must be in stock at both their store and the competitor's store, but that their online store doesn't count as a "store" so they wouldn't be able to price match.

      I questioned them on that, they put me on hold, and came back a few minutes later and said their supervisor has approved the price match.

      I noticed something similar with their shipping cost for large items for a while back. The Warehouse - $20 C&C and $60 delivered. Warehouse Stationary - $20 Delivered.

      They also contacted me from a The Warehouse CS email attempted to push back saying it was a mistake - but Warehouse Stationary site was pretty clear,.

    Happened to be driving through Hamilton today, perfect timing that I caught this and picked up 2 800s for less than the usual price of a single one.

    There were still 2 more on the shelf after, for anyone that happens to be local.

    This combined with the chemist warehouse sensitive clean heads deal from Friday means my teeth are set for the next 1-2 years!
