Apple One Subscription: Individual INR₹195/Month (~NZ$3.98), Family INR₹365/Month (~NZ$7.45) @ Apple India

120

Apple One signed up with an Indian account, can not be family shared with NZ account. The only thing that can be shared with NZ account is iCloud storage.

It's a good deal for Apple TV / non Apple/ iPhone users to be able to access Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple TV Plus, while also being able to share iCloud plus storage with their AU account.

Apple one is not available in Türkiye

  1. Set up an Indian Apple ID using your AU number to verify.

  2. Login into an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, using an Indian Apple ID.

  3. Buy Apple gift cards from Amazon India using your AU amazon account. Enter an Indian address (make sure indian address is selected, otherwise gift cards will show as out of stock) and use a virtual card from Wise.

  4. Sign up to Apple One via settings.

  5. Login on your Apple TV as a second account and enjoy all the services for a lesser price.

You can also share the iCloud store with your AU Apple ID via Family Sharing.

Note: I haven't tried it yet, but was looking for options as my apple music subscription is finishing next month.

  • Thanks for the post OP, if I have an NZ apple ID, does that mean I need to create a new Apple ID to use this facility? Is there a way to convert the current ID to an "Indian one"

I don't think you can convert existing ID to Indian one. You will have to create a new one.

  • deponds on what you need. if just apple music or Apple TV, you don't have to use apple one, cheaper to buy individually.

    • Can I do it on existing Apple ID though

      • you can, but you will be changed to India store for your account

I wish they up the storage from 200GB to something bigger. The 2TB Premier plan is not available in India yet.

Having said all that, I really don't want to risk violating any policies and have my account banned. This would be very different from a Disney+ or Netflix Turkey.

  • Confirming that the Apple One (when the ‘owner’ store is India) cannot share services outside of that store - family members will only see +iCloud and any apps bought.

You can only setup family sharing and share music/tv etc. when you all have the same store (and have valid country payment)
