I'm looking to replace all the curtains in my house as the old ones are now 20 years old and falling to bits. But looking in Spotlight & Briscoes they seem to be incredibly expensive. Can anyone recommend a reasonable supplier, please?

Spotlight has some nice ones. Pre-made ones are usually 30-40% off. Occasionally can get cheaper if combine with a coupon that includes sale items.
You can get the non blackout ones and then add a second non black out curtain lining that they also sell.
