    This is so you can't directly compare prices among other things and allows the Warehouse to use different price strategies including undercutting which is otherwise frowned on. Aldi does this but on a much larger scale. Like Aldi, The warehouse source from the same manufacturers that supply branded product locally although to start they will use offshore product while they build their supply chain. This also gives the suppliers anonymity which stops the duopoly from leaning on them or more (real or inferred) Should stop fiascos like we had with Sanitarium recently.

  So TWH Porirua says they won't pm if the product is on special and the Pak n save has to be local. Sounds like bs to me but I had no time to argue with that unfriendly store assistant.
