  • so which Warehouse can you pricematch in store ? like is there a radius limit?

    • +1

I've never had an issue price-matching an out-of-town PNS store here in Hamilton.

      • I wonder what's up with all the in-store price matching these days. It's so annoying.

        • So less people price match.

e.g. I would do online price match with click and collect on this deal if i could (and my wife would as well) and then we just collect next time we are in town EZ.

But with instore only pricematches we need to make a special trip & deal with a staff member which just puts us off. Probally not the true cheapies spirit there but its a time and hassle thing as well which is what they are probally counting on with instore price match only on small grocery items.

      • mah man, what warehouse was this?

  • "I'm sorry, we can no longer price match with any supermarkets online as per our terms and conditions. This can be done in store."

    • Yep. Instore only.

I went in-store yesterday but they said they can't match due to it being on sale at PNS

    • What weasels.

I got the price match in store at Warehouse Lincoln road. They closed down the checkout lane, put everything in the PNS online cart to confirm. They allowed 2x bars of each. I got 18 so 9 different flavours.

    • Interesting I wonder if Dunedin South will permit 2 of each flavor, I had read it as 2 blocks total limit.

  • If you want some chocolate and don't have a warehouse near you, countdown are $4.90 a block. Might be worth saving the petrol for the sake of 90c.
