Greater Wellington Council is offering free bicycle checks & repairs on Nov 19 between 3:30PM-6:30PM at the Porirua City Centre "Canopies".
Volunteer cycle experts will do a thorough safety check and can carry out repairs including replacing brake pads, oiling chains, adjusting gears and tightening handle bars.
Stuff like this will generally set you back a bit at a bike shop.
