Join 'Out There Rewards' & Get Free Shipping on All Orders + $10 off $20 Spend on Your Birthday @ Kathmandu (Free to Join)

I created a test account on Thursday, said my birthday was on Friday, and got a $10 off $20 spend discount added to my account this morning.

I consider this a deal because you used to have to pay for shipping if it was under a certain amount.

How it works:

Spend in-store or online ($1 = 1 point), or spend time out there in nature (1 activity = 10 points)

GET REWARDED
Redeem birthday and reward vouchers, exclusive member deals and more.

LEVEL UP

  • Thanks Wakrak - Excellent work (as always!), and I concur that it is a deal worth posting.

I believe my old (? Summit ?) rewards account has been rolled into a new one as above, so I am guessing my birthday is already set, but as you tested, you can always create a new one :-)

  • Even if you were a club member, you should sign in and complete four tasks:
    1. enter your email
    2. enter your birthday,
    3. watch a YouTube video
    4. enter your interests

You will score an extra 30 points.

As far as activities, I guess it's honesty-based. I do like to hear from those who scored points by doing activities.

    • No offence. I just tried it clicking all activities last week and got the 30 points. Not sure if it would be tied to something going forward.

    • I think they can go bankrupt on offering free shipping alone. As for activities it people log one activity a day they will get Level 3 in no time, and that's $110 worth of stuff that Kathmandu has to give the member. I think they will need to tighten this scheme soon otherwise I don't see it will last.

      • As far as I can tell you can only log 3 items, so 30 points, (I did already) per quarter.

      • “Please note that there’s a limit on Out There Activity points — Members and Level 1 can log three activities per calendar quarter (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec). Levels 2-3 can log six activities per calendar quarter.”

  • Have created my own Kathmandu account this week (used to accumulate points on my family member's account). Just wondering how soon a birthday voucher becomes available as my birthday is at the end of Sept.

    • When I did mine it took a few days to come through. For earlier access to my one off code I used the chat function and I was given the code via chat.
