      Of course you can. I plan to do that!

      I use my child as my +1 for heaps of the freebie deals on here and we never have an issue. Most recently was the "2 x free hot drinks for you and a friend" that the kiwi property malls were doing. She got a hot chocolate and I got a coffee, the store didn't mind at all!

        Did not work that way.

        Went with the wife, only got 1 4 pack between us. They said it's one per group.
        Showed them the email that said 'per person' but they weren't having it.

        Was still a great breakfast, with my coffee card 1 off from a free drink + doughnut, we got 2 coffees and 5 doughnuts for $5. Can't complain….

      Went in with 4 people to the Newmarket location and did the whole embarrassing "hip hip" and then "hooray" and they only allowed us one 4-pack between all of us. Might as well have individually gone in. Didn't even let anyone else try to say "hip hip" again after the first person.

      Tried to do the individual "hip hip hooray" for 1 donut and he just pointed at the 4-pack that one of us received.

    Went into the Manukau store today at lunch time with a group of 4 and only got one 4 pack. However we went through the drive through.

    Then we parked up and 2 of us went in again and got another 4 pack.

    Seems you need to walk in separately and pretend your friend is a stranger. Are they really going to make you split a box of 4 with a stranger?

    Did the "Hip Hip.." "Hooray!!" with my daughter today (under 10) they happily honoured the deal for us and my daughter was so excited to be handed a 4 pack, we were the only people in store at the time who did it.. Don't think the others knew.

    For those who went as a group and were super disappointed that it was one box per group.. The deal is per day so you can try again tomorrow with your partner/spouse/kid and then get another box if you are close enough of course.

    As for my house my daughter was super pumped with her treats, but I can understand how it would be disappointing for a group being the terms technically read as one box per 2 people as customer "A" gets box.. So technically there should have been 1 box per every 2 people if there was a group.

    I don’t see it in the terms and condition where it specify that you have to do it with a stranger

    Went with my partner to the New Lynn store, did the hip hip hooray bs, apparently they ran out of four pack, Gave us just one, not even 1 each😠
