Just a PSA for all Airbnb frogs: If u are trying to book a room or house on Airbnb, just have a quick look through booking.com first in the same area. Many hosts lists their accommodations on both of these services and out of the two, booking.com is usually cheaper. I recently booked a 1 bedroom guesthouse for a night and on Airbnb the total cost including cleaning was around $180 and on booking.com the same guesthouse was listed for $122.

It's crazy how much expensive Airbnb has become. Makes zero sense to use the service anymore.
