  • Thanks OP.
Was wondering when the next one would show up.

If you're looking at this, don't forget about the Turkey registration method (Oldubil) also here on Cheapies.

I've now had my recurring subscription taken out and everything is going great. Spotify took 49.99 Lira on the 27th July automatically for my Spotify Premium Family account which is $3.11NZD at current rates.

    • I read on ozbargain that oldubil have temporarily stopped payment transfers from international banks. So you might not be able to add balance to your oldubil account.

Maybe, I put 500 lira in (about $30). So I guess I'll find out in like 9 months.

    • Going through Google Play works too, and I'd trust that more than Oldubil.

      • I don't really know the Google Play method, but I like having a live, valid Turkish CC that I can use anywhere and everywhere with Turkish pricing.

For me trust isn't a big factor because there's so little money there that I'm happy to risk.

        • Here is Google play method in case you require

          • @ace310: This is for YouTube Premium not Spotify?

          • @ace310: Urgh, no I definitely don't want to change my Country/Region on my Google account. Last time I did that all my banking apps stopped working and I couldn't download them until I changed back to NZ.

Definitely happy with the Oldubil method. An actual CC number in Turkey that can be used anywhere. I could probably create another Google account, but then it would steal focus on my phone/browser.

@danvelopment: Never try all this on your primary account. Always do it on a different account and add that as a family.
