Sky sport English Premier Leauge

My team has been promoted to EPL and all games are on Sky. I would like to watch
the games but the cost of $450 for the season is out of my reach. I prefer to watch on catch up at
a reasonable hour, does anyone know if this can be done? I dont mind paying but not what Sky want for live coverage.
Thanks.

I make do with VPN + BBC iPlayer: match of the day (90min recap of the weekend highlights). Then otherwise look to watch for the occasional sat/sun 7am kickoff if it's a quality fixture. Likewise I won't fork out the $ for sky. There's also IPTV to look into as an option although I've never done.

    • I haven’t tried the IPTV route, but after a few minutes of research – visit here to see the full list of links.

If you’re watching it on chromecast download the Tivimate app.

I'm trying this tonight, so I will report back if I can get it working.

      • That's a nice find. Just tried m3u in vlc and some of the links are working and some are not. I will try to set something on chromecast as well and see how it works.

I also found the same, with only some of the channels working - I suspect some channels may also be geolocked.
Let me know if you manage to find a channel that plays EPL games - I have not had any success yet.
I may look into paid iptv subscriptions if this route doesn't work.

          • @Bargain-Hunter: I have one of those iptv box with paid subscription which works absolutely fine in parents room. Wanted to try If this thing works I can set it up in living room so once in awhile I can watch something, if I get time to watch lol.

  • If you know someone with Sky TV & Sport subscription, and they don't mind you using it, then you can use their account on Sky Go. Perhaps offer them a payment for using it.

It can be used on multiple devices, just not at the same time / from different locations / IP addresses (I think)

  • https://footyfull.com/ for free replays at a reasonable hour.
Has some annoying pop-ups but they are easy to get rid of.

    • Or VPN BBC or Goal.com

I actually got a SkySportsNow 12-month sub for Premier League for around $300 during a promotion as it was easier for the elderly LFC fan end user with dementia. So keep a look out for Sky promotions. As others say can have 2 users on the Sky sub so I also use the elderly person's Sky sub for the odd occasion that I need Sky.
