I bought the countdown edam cheese. Never tried cheese so bland
You should try the mild cheese they have in the deli, its got a hint of soap.

Countdown cheese is great for vegetarians as they use non-animal rennet.
Anyone else find Countdown really expensive now? Apart from this cheese deal, the things we buy on a weekly basis are more often than not on sale at New World for cheaper than Countdown.
At least they're blowing $400 million on something stupid like undoing their rebranding

They tell their suppliers that they need to be carbon zero this and that but when I worked there all the plastic and plastic wrap went straight into the bin for landfill. They didn't recycle anything at all
Yes i used to buy a few things and have been several times now but walk out with nothing.
I think its good cause its pushing me to buy from small suppliers especially if im going to pay that much.
IMHO their cheese isn’t great. I rather the Eclipse one at PnS. But just my opinion. Thanks for posting OP
