Its from Midday, so I'm assuming availability won't be released until midday ??

        • Lol wut… it's in the very first line here in the OP

The Stuff article is a bit misleading.
I have access to Xero and the email from them states that of the 5000 tickets, 3500 were released to Xero customers yesterday.
The balance of 1500 is today.

A limit of 4 tickets per transaction applies (subject to availability) and Xero has access to a total
of 5,000 complimentary tickets available for each of the relevant matches. The first 3,500 will
be released on 12 July 2023 with the remaining 1,500 being released on 13 July 2023. Xero
and FIFA reserve the right to withdraw or amend this complimentary ticket offer at any time.

The code to access the early tickets is: XEROPASS23 for anyone that wants to try now.
Haven't checked myself so not sure if you need Xero credentials for my code.

    • next PR from them will say its all sold out and people really really want to watch… like the WRWC

This is working already! Have got myself 4 tickets to the Phillippines game in Dunedin.

    • Dumb question may be, how did you use the access code? I cant see an option to use a code?

      • Ok got it, looks like there is an option to use the access code on the right hand side panel on the games listing page :)

      • I can't find where to input the code either. Help?

      • +1

There should be a small window on the right-hand side (when you see the pages with matches), where you enter the Access Code

Is anyone getting a waiting room??

  • +1

      • I got 4 for Auckland game. Still heaps in other city but in Auckland it is running out. Have you got them?

        • No missed out unfortunately! Shouldve been quicker :p

  • what to do after the waiting room? i get a log in page.

    • You need a Fifa account

  • Tickets don't add to cart for wellington game.

    • Ok just got 4 tickets after a couple of retries

  • How many of these will end up on Trade Me? I see 4 tickets to the Spain v Zambia game just recently went up…

    • +10

That sucks if its cheapies doing that!! Not here for scalpers imo

      • +6

Can't agree more. These tickets are for people and their families who love football and sports, not for these scalpers.

    • +8

      Yep. Hate scalpers.
Should report the TradeMe listing - I'm going to do it.
They are obviously 4x free tickets that they are trying to profit off when it should be going to people that genuinely love the sport.
It should actually be banned from sale on TradeMe anyway as the FIFA World Cup is classed as a major event which prohibits ticket selling for more than the original price paid.

Here's the listing for anyone wanting to report it too:

Yep I agree - reported listing!

Thing is though, you can't identify if a ticket is a free one or one that's been bought honestly and being resold, can you? Until you actually get the ticket and have already bought and paid for it, it says on the ticket itself?

          • @ScoobyNZ: Trademe withdrew it so they must confirm with seller first

  • Too late. Nothing available for Auckland.

  • anything for Hamilton? i get currently nothing.

  • None left Dunedin

  • Just realized I can't go to the Dunedin game, got x4 free tickets if soneone wants them.

  • Have 4x Auckland category 2 tickets for free to someone who can attend.

    • Could I have them? Cheers

    • May I please be considered for 2?

  • Has anyone got free tickets for tomorrow's game at Wellington regional stadium and not willing to go?
    Asking for a friend.

  • Thought I'd try my luck - anyone not able to go to tomorrow's Spain vs Zambia match and would be willing to pass their tickets on?

    • +1
