Any recommendations for laptop backpack?

I think my backpack is starting to wear off and now needing a good laptop backpack that's sturdy, rainproof, can hold 2 laptops, maybe on the below $100 side (can go high if actually good), good for the back (good padding) and probably can have other colors.

Let me know if you have some recommendations folks thanks! I'm willing to buy one in a heartbeat

  • Wait, 2 laptops????

    • Haha yeah work requires 1 big 15.6 and another macbook air. And if I put them on the same slot they rub each other when I walk.

So ideally yeah 2 laptop slots (maybe the second one can house big tablets)

      • Just out of pure curiosity, what's the reason for such a requirement?

  • Ive used Targus brand laptop backpacks for the last 20+ years, every bag has lasted 5+ years of daily use. At one point I was motorcycle comuting for a number of years too.

    • thanks actually my backpack wearing off was a Targus! They're robust and dependable and too good. However it got me thinking… and hear me out - color!

I've been one of those people who wore black and grey backpack all of my life. So yeah I know it's silly but actually looking for a pop of autumn color on my backpack - orange, green or gold 😅

  • Ok I finally went a bit overboard and bought this tiktok bag apparently sold in US:

They're apparently on 40% off sale ($159.99 from $270) and 10% off from newsletter sign up stacks bringing it down more.

  • I bought one of these lenovo backpacks a few years ago, it comfortably fits 2 laptops and seems to be fine in the rain and light showers. Lots of padding on the rear of it as well. I'm very happy with it.

Bit on an expensive side, but can accommodate 2 laptops, ipad. Limited Lifetime warranty using for around 3 years no issue. Haven't experienced any wear and tear. I paid around $117.20 during covid.

    • Used mine Everki for 10 years. Daily use and dozens of international trips, still primo

    • That's cheap but it's on clearance and out of stock pretty much everywhere.
Not available online and limited stock only at Te Awamutu and Palmerston North.
