Good Deal on a New Phone? (around $400 or less)

My mum needs to get a new phone for work and going out etc. Her phone she has now is a Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC She paid $381 for the 128gb / 6gb ram model from PB Tech and it's a really good phone for that price.

The phone still works fine but she wants to give it to my nephew ASAP and wants a new phone that will be better than the one she has now. I told her to wait for a sale but she does not want to wait for a sale.

Her price range is around $400 or less.

I've looked online and most phones either have worse specs or are about the same or not much better.
There are good deals on AliExpress but she does not want to import one because she does not want to wait for it to arrive.

Is there anything you could recommend?

  I have recently purchased a Samsung A14 5G for my mum, looks to be similar spec to the poco you've mentioned.
  Managed to get it on sale for $299.

  some months back JBHiFi was doing a BOGOF on the Oppo A94 5G
  I bought it at that time: 2 phones for $600

  its a really good phone, 8GB ram (plus 8GB virtual RAM) 30W VOOC charging, NFC, dual sim and 5G

  point is, some people are still selling this brand new phones on TM/Marketplace for $400, i would suggest grabbing this model.
