We’re looking at booking a holiday in Fiji (2A 3K) next year around June/July. Probably going to go with Plantation Island Resort.
Anyone know when the best time to book is? (To get a good deal). I heard someone got an amazing deal from House of Travel but not sure when these deals are likely to come up.
Or other feedback/advice for Plantation Island Resort or booking a holiday in Fiji.

The best time is out of school holidays for a start. With Plantation you need to get there most people take the ferry transfers but there is air options as well, they add quite a bit to the total so either get a package that includes those.
Overall Fiji is a pretty expensive place and the value for money is so so. They whack tourists with a bunch of taxes on things which really add up. The only saving grace really is the flights are cheaper and shorter than further afield where you would get more for your dollar. I used to go every year at least but havent been back for a while because of this.
Did Fiji for the first time last year when the government were encouraging tourists back by subsidising flights and hotels under a "Bulla Bubble" promo. Stayed at the Sheraton in Denerau under an all inclusive package. Looked at the same trip this year out of interest and it was double the cost.
Have literally just got back from two weeks in Bali. First time there. Spent 5 days in Ubud and 9 days at Melia resort in Nusa Dua (all inclusive). Very impressed compared to Fiji to be honest and I think better bang for buck.
