    Is it just me or is it common that no one is ever able to book these so called low price flight tickets?

    I mean not a single one of those prices are available in the given time frames.
    Does it require a coupon code to work?

      no coupon required. However Jetstar has limited the number of seats in each range, so while all prices were accurate when I documented them, some will sell out.

      I got return flights from Auckland to Queenstown for $112 via one of beatthatflight's Jetstar posts :) Flight was over the long weekend in Feb this year.

    Has Jetstar service gotten any better does anyone know? They used to be 50/50 as to whether they would cancel your flight or not e.g. cancel an afternoon Auckland to Wellington flight and then chuck you on the 6.50am one. Blacklisted them after it happened twice in a row

      I mean, at least they are transparent?
      I have been using Jetstar a lot more recently, I find their second fare tier flexible with a good amount of baggage (cancel 1 hour before flight for credit voucher + 14kg carry on). They still do the "weigh cabin bag" routine in Auckland so you need to be careful if you travel on the base fare. Service is less polished but given how inflexible Air NZ have been over the past year or so I've been happy to travel with them.

        One thing i've found helps with that limit is saying you have medicine in it, or baby supplies (if carrying your infant). Gets waived everytime.

        That's just benchmarked against "Scheduled" flights though, so wouldn't include flights that are cancelled.

      No, none of them are - available to everyone. Last day tho and some routes are low quantity left/gone
