Was reading some feedback about those speakers last night.

As an owner read this first..

OK speakers but if you are trying to synch your rgb with other Logitech hardware these are a pain. If you are happy with audio drops every 30mins or so jump on them. I purchased these at least 3 years ago for 139 and still have regrets..

But then there are comments like this

Great speakers! And for a great price!! Highly recommended.

Best use of LED in my opinion. I loved playing GTA V with these since the speakers flash blue and red like police car lights.

    • $139 from the Noel Leeming ASB Showground sale, I got that deal too

  • Bugger, can't shuck the drive I don't think.

  • Having issues with online credit card transaction for the webcam. Anyone else having issues?

      Just purchased successfully

      • You motivated me to try purchasing again, this time as a guest as opposed to using my EB Games login and it worked. Can't confirm if it was really the guest approach that solved it though. Thanks for sharing your experience.

        • No worries, I’ve been on the market for a webcam for some time and this fits in well with my other Logitech peripherals. Cheers OP!

Anyone else have issues with those widescreen aspect ratio web cams?
Like they show a heap of the room when you might really want to restrict to you.

Of then person isn't prominent enough to be the main image in the meeting, and you're looking at a little figure (now not particularly detailed) sitting in a wide open space.

    • I have two webcams and one is really wide but the other isn't. The wider one is a better brand and camera so wanted that in our office for calls with the other one used for calling family in the living room. Had to swap them out though as the office one was a lot of white wall and little human in the shot. Whereas a family call in the living room the wide one works much better.

      • Yep my exact experiences there.

I guess a heads up to others that a lot of these commercial orientated web cams are intended to cover a boardroom table field of view and capture multiple meeting participants.

A narrower laptop camera etc may well be better for single person users.

I got a Logitech Brio 500. Was pretty shocked how wide the field of view was (90 degrees). However I have now downloaded the software for it. which allows 90deg / 78 deg / 65 deg to be chosen (and then to zoom in from those if you want).

Found 65 degree works well for me.

Assume there is some image quality loss from cropping out the middle of the image, but the quality is still fine (as you would expect from a $150+ webcam).

These are good speakers. I have them 😃

    • Have you had any issues with audio dropout like mentioned above?

      • +2

I haven’t experienced any audio drops. I bought mine during the 1st lockdown. I don’t do gaming on them just use it for office work and watching movies.

  • Thanks for posting, just ordered the webcam.

  • Some great deals here. Unfortunately, I have heard some bad reviews from customers and friends about those speakers. They look really cool but they sounds pretty mediocre and they cut out from time to time or the sounds turns up automatically.

  • FYI Noel Leeming will price-match the Logitech Webcam. I asked online chat support and they generated a code for me.
