  • Have just bought myself one and received the $5 bonus. Not sure why the terms say Prezzee.com.au as it is for Nz and works on the Nz site.

  • Thanks OP

  • Ordered one and got the $5 bonus!

    • How long did it take you to receive the bonus? I bought one 2 hrs ago, still not come through.

      • The purchase confirmation and bonus card emails both arrived ~1 minute after I paid.

  • A shame these can't be used online as well as in-store.

  • Does it still apply if you already have a prezzy card!with credit and you swap for a countdown card? Just swapped for a $50 Countdown card but didn’t get the $5.

    • I assume you mean Prezzee 🙂

Unfortunately no. The terms are quite clear:

"To be eligible to receive a bonus $5 Countdown eGift Card, you must purchase a specifically marked $50 Countdown eGift Card via www.prezzee.co.nz, which you can send to yourself, or to someone else."

  • When do the gift cards expire? What is stopping me from buying $5000 worth of gift cards for an effective 10% bonus on my grocery shopping for the foreseeable future?

    • It's one per customer

You’ll probably save more than that by just shopping at PakNSave instead

    • The e-card states no expiry. One per customer.

  • Tried to pay for this a few times but it just doesn't work - maybe out of stock? It doesn't give me any feedback after 'Submitting' it goes back to 'Pay $50'

Update: it worked on the Prezzee App but doesn't on the website.

    • website worked for me just now

      • oops, I think my wifi must have been playing up

I purchased this with similar deal(10$ plus for $100) on last black Friday. Then I realised I have to use it offline. So I have to install Prezzee app and show it at the counter. Usually, you will be able to make a payment partially for your shopping so you have to pay the remaining with other method(which should be usually credit card). This process sucks and very inconvenient. For $5, I'm unsure if it's worth doing this process again.

    • wish u a good luck with the staff to know what to do… when you show the prezze card.

Just ask for split payment over 3 cards $50, $5 and the remaining
can do it at new world self service i know that countdown should be the same

      • That's useful info, thank you!
