If it's not a New Zealand Apple retailer, iPhone is not covered by Apple NZ warranty.
It's covered by NZ Consumer Guarantees Act
I know it's covered by the New Zealand consumer guarantees act but my point is any Apple product purchased from an authorised Apple retailer you can return it and get it repaired Dick Smith and Kogan are not authorised Apple retailers and any repairs are done by a third-party and third-party repairers cannot purchase Apple parts or unless stated as in their terms and conditions that the Apple product has a "Worldwide Apple Warranty"
That is not true - Apple have an Independent Repair Provider Program
@kiordz: Yes, and they are still authorised repairs and have very stringent rules, Apple licensed parts and not third-party. Kogan has no mention of any warranty covered by Apple so I can only presume it's a third party or return to Hong Kong for repair.
