I got email from Slingshot saying that they are refunding on the Wiring & Maintenance they charged that was not applicable to my service I had.. they had the correct account number as I was with Slingshot more than 5 years ago. they are asking for my bank account for the refund (around $78)
there was a similar refund by Spark last year, but no news from Slingshot, the email seems legit.

I could contact Slingshot direct to find out, without using the suggested email addresses.

Yes this is a legit refund. I had email a couple of weeks ago and rang them to check if it was a scam and it is not, paid back within a couple of days.
