Anyone Managed to Buy Microsoft 365 Using Forerign Currency?

Not sure how many people are still using Microsoft emails (hotmail.com. live.com, etc). They recently put a 5GB limit on all free user accounts. I had ignored their notifications to buy more storage until they completely stopped me from sending and receiving emails today. The email address has been my primary one for many years so I can't really give it up.

Checked different currencies and Argentina Peso appeared to have the best value. I managed to get to the payment page using VPN. But it won't accept my wise card with a fake Argentina address.

"Comprueba la información que has escrito. No coincide con la información para esta tarjeta." —> "Check the information you have written. It does not match the information for this card."

Any thoughts?

    Anyway, I've expanded my allowance from 5GB to 10GB using their referral system. 0.5GB extra per referral. I had to create 10 useless emails. That should keep it going for a while.

    What about key resellers ?

    I've been lucky that for some reason my old uni never changed what license I was assigned

    What has Microsoft 365 got to do with Hotmail ? Windows Live mail was a mail client program installed on your computer and storage capacity wouldn't matter so long as you had it set to keep copies of mail on the local computer. You can also do this with hotmail.

      "That policy changed February 1. Since then, attachments now count as part of the 5GB OneDrive allowance – and if that amount is exceeded, it throws a wrench into the email service. It doesn't change the storage amount available in Outlook.com, but could in OneDrive."

      I don't think keeping a local copy will make a difference unless you delete the online copy which I'm reluctant to do.

    look out for deals on "slickdeals" USA . I usually renew by subscription for microsoft 365 family around black friday when you get 18 months subscription at a nominal price. Something which I learned today is that if you already have Microsoft 365 Family and if you wish to redeem Microsoft 365 personal code , it will let you extend Family subscription by 9 months.

    Yes I have, with Indian VPN renewed annually on Wise card not on Microsoft official site but through Indian Amazon
