Can You Pricematch Deals at The Warehouse Like Buy One Get One Half Price and Buy 3 for $6?

Like the title say something was $4 and countdown had 3 for $6 could I pricematch it at the warehouse?
Also would it work for buy one get on half price or buy 2 get one free? Thanks

  • My guess would be no.

But try and do a pricematch with such an offer and see what happens?

  • Generally no they won't match multi-buy deals even when the individual price is cheaper elsewhere.
However, sometimes you can strike it lucky.
Best thing to do is try it and if you get declined have another go with a different agent.

  • Unrelated but some people said on a recent deal TW would refuse to pricematch the 99c cadbury block deal(pak'nsave) because they had a 2 for $6 offer on the same item and that made it an excluded item(much like if it was marked clearance).

The terms are unclear about it, I don't see how a 2 for $6 offer(at The Warehouse) would be a reason to exclude pricematching another retailers per unit price..

Yeah it seems wrong to me. You can't do something like buy 2 get one free or buy 2 get one half price with the price match, these are excluded. But for any deals they have, they should be able to exclude the deal and still price match the original deal so if you buy 2 you get them for 99c*2 etc. Mind you, if you're doing it online I can understand their reluctance given the agents probably have limited control and something which isn't supposed to happen easily could given how crappy their stores tend to be. But in store they can see the result and fix it if it goes wrong so they should be willing to do it in store. But from my experience even in store you can easily get people who don't properly understand their policy.
