Thank you for the info. jbhifi seems to offer a lower price.

    https://www.jbhifi.co.nz/cameras/connected-home/eufy/eufy-se…

    • Even better. Thanks.

  • ps, just want to know if it requires a monthly subscription for some functions.

    • I don't think so, I been using them for a while, not this one specifically, I get to use everything except cloud storage. It stores everything on the homebase or sdcard in the device. This camera would store it in the sdcard I believe but I honestly don't know if this camera in particular might be different regarding subscription.

    • No don't need a cloud subscription has its own SD card all notifications come up on your app and you can either record onto your phone from the SD card remotely and go back months and look at alerts depending on how much storage. Don't use a homebase it works independently and has a 360° range so you can have it beside a window and look outside as well as inside a room. Also, you can tilt the camera up and down and it will follow intruders or pets in the room automatically.

    Besides JB

The Market $135.20 if you want to use a $20 off code.
    Amazon AU $133.76

    • I think I used my $20 off code. Amazon AU also has it cheap and free shipping but you it might be a bit of a pain to sort out any warranty issues but if you get it from Noel Leming or The Market it would be more straight forward I reckon.

      • agreed. And there is AUD to NZD ratio and extra gst from AmazonAU.

        • NZ$133.76 is the price I get at checkout at Amazon AU. Was surprised that there were no other costs.

          • @Wakrak: Yeah, I think Amazon AU does free shipping to NZ over $60 or $65. I dont know about GST tho.

I created a new The Market account, signed up to MarketClub 1 month trial, and referred myself just for the $20 off code. No issues.

        • That is a good idea really.

I have bought 3 of this from Aliexpress for around ~$80 NZD delivered. And have been using them for more than a year now without any issues. Other than the adapter it is the same as sold here. If you can wait for a week or 2 for shipping, I don't think you can beat that price in NZ. Yes. probably no warranty maybe, but it is sold officially by Eufy so might work.

    • I usually go to AliExpress for Anker products yes, but for this particular camera I cant find it there so I gave up. Do you have a link?

    • I've got one from Aliexpress too, it just arrived. Everything works well except that in the GoogleHome app I can't see the live stream, it always says "Camera unavailable" or "Live video unavailable", not sure if you had the same problem as well. It's interesting that the one sold in NZ has the part number T8410C24 while in US and Aliexpress it's called T8410X, although I can't find any other difference between them.

      • I don't think it works on GoogleHome or Alexa for live view. I have Alexa and it doesn't work.

        • Thank you for the info. So now I'm interested if the one sold locally can work ;) If yes, that could be the reason why it's so expensive here. But there is actually no hardware difference, maybe they locked the software for a high profit.

          • @cyphei: I doubt it works. I have solar cam I bought from NL and it doesn't work either.

            • @ace310: that's great info for me, appreciated.

  • Any good deals on the outdoor security cameras? Thanks
