We're looking at travel insurance for our one-way trip - plan is to travel for 3 months and then live in Europe. We're looking for travel insurance for the first 3 months, and after that will take out local health insurance. A lot of travel insurance policies don't seem to cover one-way trips, has anyone had any experience or recommendations for one-way insurance? I've looked at World Nomads but they're definitely a more expensive option.

If you are going overseas, plan to return, but do not have a confirmed return date to New Zealand, this is different. Most insurers allow you to purchase a regular policy if you intend to head back to NZ, but just have not bought a ticket yet.
