Participants max payout: $10,000 (Shared between 2 people)

Trackers max payout: $5000 (One successful participant tracked)

Callers max payout: $500 (Call at the right time)

The Competition

● The objective of the Competition is for the Edgescapees to travel throughout New Zealand, participate in set challenges and avoid being found by listeners, referred to as (the “Tracker” or “Trackers”).

● Each Edgescapee team will have a designated $10,000 bounty. Throughout the two-week Competition, each team will have two chances to keep their bounty of $10,000. If the teams are found by a Tracker, $5,000 will be deducted from the bounty and awarded to the Tracker who found them. Once found, that Edgescapee team’s game will be paused until the footage is reviewed and verified by a Mediaworks representative before the prize is officially awarded. The found team will then be out of the game for 24 hours and then shall re-enter the game with a reduced bounty of $5,000. If the Edgescapee teams are not found by the end of the Competition, they will win the remaining amount left of their bounty.

● Edgescapee teams will be required to participate in challenges during the Competition at one of the designated times (7am, 11am, 2pm, or 5pm (times may vary) to earn per diems. The per diems can be used to purchase food or other necessary items, as well as to change outfits or use disguises to aid in their movements.

● Each time the Edgescapees lose or decline to participate in a challenge, they will forfeit the allocated ‘per diem’ cash amount for that challenge. The forfeited ‘per diem’ cash amount may then be won by a caller on-air or via social media in accordance with the process set out in the Minor Prize section of these Rules.

How to Win

Edgescapee (Major Prize)
● If an Edgescapee team remains unfound or is found only once (in accordance with the competition Rules) during the Competition, they will win the remaining balance of their bounty, either $5,000 or $10,000 (NZD).

Trackers (Major Prize)
● Trackers must approach the Edgescapee teams, physically tag them and be the first to say “Are you The Edge Most Wanted?” while filming the interaction on a personal device.
● Once found, that Edgescapee team’s game will be paused until the footage is reviewed and verified by a Mediaworks representative before the prize is officially awarded. The found team will then be out of the game for 24 hours.
● Trackers are not permitted to pursue Edge Most Wanted into potentially hazardous situations.

Callers (Minor Prize)
● Each time the Edgescapees loses or declines to participate in a challenge, They will forfeit the allocated ‘per diem’ cash amount for that challenge. The forfeited ‘per diem’ cash amount may then be won by a caller on-air or via social media at either 8am, 12pm, 3pm & 6pm.
