Idiya 100% Back Store Credit Sale?

Idiya seem to be offering 100% store credit back on all (in stock) purchased made this month…but I’m skeptical - how can they make any money doing that? I’m worried it’s an exit scam or something - does anyone have any thoughts?

They mostly import ikea stuff, like urbansales and a few other smaller shops

  • Only real catch I see is you have to use the store credit by the end of March as well. Also, imagine this is basically BOGOF: https://idiya.co.nz/shop/tiny001-idiya-tiny-house-barrie-552…

  • Good clause, else I thought piggy back same purchase again lol

Purchases made using store credit will not create new store credit.

    • Its really a 50% off sale isn't it?

      • Yes. Looks of it. But most of the items are not available until may.

      • They've had 50% off sales in the past. We looked at this but decided we were buying furniture because if the deal not because we needed it and could wait for the right furniture to come along.

Be nice when the south island store reopens with a showroom though, I'd like to see the quality of their own brand stuff before soending hundreds of dollars.

  • Idiya is dodgy as, they inflate their prices incredibly when they have a ‘sale’ and remove popular items off the website in other instances during sale periods

I’ve contemplated reporting them to the commerce commission but not worth my time
