any of these good as a OS drive ? or is there a better comparable other brand one, looking to build a new comp with the new ryzen cpu thats out

    • Any PCIE 4 with DRAM is fine

Just depends on pricing and what size you need 256GB/512GB is fine for OS drive if your main activity is gaming, then have a 2nd 1-2TB for games

  • does PS5 actually need a heatsink? was considering between 980 pro+heatsink and 990 pro

    • Heatsink is a must for PS5. The internal temps get pretty warm. Sony recommends that any NVME you add needs adequate heat dispersion.

      • just make sure the heatsink also fits within the slot height

        • thanks both…I will go with 980 pro with heatsink…

it should fit as it says PS5 compatible

  • Some of these might be cheaper on Amazon AU
