I bought this about a year ago, and I honestly don't think it's worth it. Tried to get my shower glass squeaky clean like they show in their videos, but no cigar.

Don't mean to bash OP's post. They have a lot of good reviews and I guess that's why I gave it a try, but it didn't work out for me, and now the products are just sitting in the garage :(

    • Thanks for the feedback. Yep I am buying this for the first time, and was impressed on what they were showing on the videos. Hopefully it works out for me :)

    • What they don't show in the video is the amount of elbow grease you also need to make the shower glass like new…

      • Yes, a lot of elbow grease required. I am considering using a drill to buff the shower :|

        • Ive found wet and forget tigers paw to be better.
          Stupidly expensive though.

        • I also considered this haha, but haven’t got around to it yet

Nah that's exactly the type of feedback you want on Cheapies. Thanks for commenting.

Not related to the product or have never used it. Just a tip I picked up sometime back and it has served me well if you have glass shower. Once the glass is nice and clean, wash it with a nice car shampoo like and apply the ceramic coating spray like on the glass. This will last few months with minimal cleaning required. Once you feel the coating has come bit down, do it again. Doesn't take long as glass won't be that bad. Saved alot of time & money(don't have to spend on expensive cleaners :))

  • I bought scrub daddy and scrub mommy scrubbers and in less than a month they all start to disintegrate after moderate use - small chunks start to come off. I really thought they were more superior to the regular foam/scrubbing pads, but I don't think they are unfortunately :(

    • This hasn't been the case for us at all, our Scrub Daddies have been super strong and we've used them daily for over a year.

      • We still have a few to go through - maybe we are doing something that is damaging the outer layer (I can think of our coffee machine portafilter that has challenging internal surface the scrubber can be catching on?).

        • It's possible, because we've used it primarily for all of our cookware (ranging from cast iron, carbon steel woks, stainless steel, dutch ovens, oven trays) to remove all kinds of stuff and then furthermore used one for the bathroom - both have survived an incredibly long time, the one used for cookware has had a bit of a change in colour possibly from spices but other than that, it operates like day one.

Perhaps the quality has changed at a manufacturing level? As we did buy our Scrub Daddies a couple of years ago from stock that was undoubtedly a year or so old.
